These false proposals may include, but are not limited to:

• Investment opportunities
• Tender contracts
• Partnerships, collaborations, or project offers involving Sime

The public is strongly advised to exercise caution when approached with such proposals. Always verify the legitimacy of any offer by contacting Sime directly.

Sime shall not be liable for any losses or damages suffered by individuals, entities, or companies as a result of engaging with such fraudulent proposals.

Sime has reported this matter to the relevant authorities.

Sime Darby Berhad (“Sime”) wishes to alert the public to fraudulent e-mails, websites, and social media postings falsely claiming to offer employment with Sime and its group of companies. These scams typically request personal information and/or payment to process job applications or offers. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THESE ARE SCAMS.

Sime, its subsidiaries and related companies:

• Do not make job offers via e-mail, third-party websites, or social media without a formal interview.
• Have not appointed any third party to recruit or send out offers of employment on our behalf.
• Do not request payment or impose charges for processing job applications or offers, nor authorise any party to collect such payments.

All legitimate job vacancies for Sime are posted only through official recruitment channels. Any other job postings claiming to represent Sime should be treated with extreme caution.

Protect Yourself:

• Do not share personal information or make any payments in response to unsolicited “offers of employment.”
• Do not trust hyperlinks received via e-mail, messaging apps, or social media.
• Always check that the URL in your internet browser is correct when visiting Sime’s or its group companies’ official websites.

Sime has reported these fraudulent activities to the relevant authorities.

Sime Darby Berhad (“Sime”) wishes to alert the public to fraudulent activities by unidentified individuals falsely claiming to represent Sime. These individuals have been offering fake “procurement project” opportunities and requesting company credentials, while misusing Sime’s name and brand.

We have identified that some of these fraudulent messages are being sent via e-mail from intldesk@simedarbyberhad.com. Please note that Sime has not appointed any individual, entity, or company to offer such procurement opportunities on our behalf.

If you receive such communications:

• Do not respond or provide any company or personal information.
• Verify the legitimacy of any procurement-related request directly with Sime Darby

We urge the public to remain vigilant against scams misusing the Sime name. Always confirm the authenticity of any communication before responding, especially those requesting personal, financial, or corporate information. Sime will never request such details or payments via unsolicited e-mails, social media messages, or unverified third parties.
